Family Sigil

my parents were born in the year of the Tiger, i was born in the year of the monkey and my sister , the rat.
it may be simple, but it has great personal significance to me.

this made me focus more on the likeness of the animals-- meaning using reference, a humbling experience,
slow moving at first but it gets easier. I am forced to think of the final image as i draw and compose, i try not to get to sucked into the
process of drawing, but also step back to look at it through new eyes,
that is where the variations of color comes in.
